This week’s Two-Stroke Tuesday is all about 300cc off-road machines with the 2018 Beta 300RR Race Edition taking center stage, and it’s all brought to you by Boyesen. Products from GoPro, Giant Loop and Spectro Oils are featured in our 2-Stroke Hardware section, and 2-Stroke Theater is packed full of 300cc off-road machines. Don’t miss our exclusive link to the most iconic 300cc two-stroke of all time! Click the image at the bottom of this post.
Beta has its standard models as well as a line of Race Editions that have upgraded features for more hard-core racers. In the case of the 300 two-stroke, the RE does away with the oil injection system. It still has all the provisions to install the injection system after the fact, in case you change your mind. It also has trick looking graphics and color coatings in addition to a 48 mm Sachs Closed Cartridge fork w/skf seals and an aluminum body Sachs shock w/adjustable rebound and hi/low speed compression.
The Race Edition also features a rear sprocket with anodized aluminum core and steel teeth combination.
The Beta Factory peg is a hard part available directly from Beta through the very popular Build-Your-Own-Beta program. This program allows the customer the opportunity to spec out a custom machine and have it assembled at the factory.
The black powder-coated swingarm really makes the red powder coated frame and anodized parts stand out.
The 300RR engine is supplied fuel through Mototassinari V-Force reeds feed by a Keihin carburetor.
The exhaust system is manufactured by FMF to Beta’s factory specifications for off-road performance applications.
We love the overall look of this machine. All the powder coating and anodized parts makes the bike look fast just sitting on the stand. The 2018 300RR Race Edition sells for $8950.
